Inspiration and a changed vision

Finding inspiration when the days get darker is not always easy but as the birds become more visible at the feeders again, I look to them for a story or two.

Sing for me little bird on this cold Autumn day.

When the cosmos is still flowering in October... In September I had eye surgery for a detached retina which left me unable to stitch for some weeks. When I ventured outside again, the cosmos was a perfect silhouette. I altered my working practice to accommodate a changed way of seeing. Thankfully my sight has now improved and I really like these new stitching ways…
