Myself and Jenny O’Leary are getting together again over at my house to offer a couple of small group workshops at the end of November.
On Monday, 29th November you can join me to create a needle case book with one of your favourite garden birds on the cover and on Tuesday 30th November, Jenny will be here to show you how to create beautiful trees on tissue papers with hot wax resist and a variety of tools. There’s a little more info below and you will be available to book via my website from this evening. Cost £65 / 10am to 4pm / mince pies with tea/coffee
Create a beautiful cover for your needles and pins book with a simple bird template, fabric collage, free machine and hand stitching. Your work will then be turned into a simple needle case to take away and fill with stitching mementos, pins and needles. Some materials are included but you may wish to add your own special fabric pieces.
Beautiful Trees – Batik On Tissue With Jenny O’Leary
Create beautiful trees using a variety of tools, hot wax resist, inks, tissue paper & paper. Be inspired by the changing seasons and the shapes and colours of trees. No experience is necessary. Just bring an apron, hairdryer, and images of trees to inspire. The work will be suitable for further development with stitch.
